Are you, or should I say, your pockets, ready for Spring 2012? This year’s Jordan Brand retro releases are sure to put a cramp on your funds, especially if you are an Air Jordan XII fan.  Today we bring you the first look at the grade school version of the “Playoff” colorway.  Originally released in 1997, the pair that took MJ and the Chicago Bulls to their 5th championship has since become coveted.  Back then, we’d seen black, white and red done on a sneaker numerous times, but there was something about the supple leather and atypical design that captured our curiosity and hearts.  The leather on the GS pair looks to be impressive but only an in-hand inspection will tell.  Nevertheless, I am looking forward to this release as I’m sure a lot of our readers are.  The “Playoff” Air Jordan 12 hits retail April 21, 2012.
